We ordered 10 new chairs to go around the dining room table, and on the day of delivery, we carried up the 8 chairs they were to replace. But Ariel had a game night scheduled for that evening, and just in case the new chairs didn't arrive, we didn't want the trash man to carry them off until later. In Mexico, nothing that can be reused is ever thrown away, so about every 15 minutes or so, we would get a buzz from a gardener or a maid who saw our chairs sitting in the carport, and ask if they could have them. Eventually, our new chairs came, and so we said, "Yes."
For our last piece, I wanted a sideboard to match the new chairs, so I designed this one with legs identical to the turned legs of the chairs and in the same dark brown stain. I really love the mirrors, espceially in this dining rooms that has no natural light of its own.
Until I change my mind (very likely), we're probably done ordering furniture from Señor Carrillo.
